Hola!

It's been a long time since my last post in this blog. A thousand things have changed--some are for the worse, but many are for the better (hopefully).

Countless blessings have came into my life in these past two years--I couldn't ask for a better life. I was given chances to meet great people who have inspired me to become the person I am today,  I was surrounded by love, warmth, and joy from the people whom I loved so much, and I was given the opportunities to experience lots of life challenges which were not easy to keep up with, but those difficulties made me a stronger person than I was yesterday.

A rebel. Half-outcast. A nervous-wreck. A procrastinator. A hormonal teenager. A perfectionist. An anxious person. A disappointment. An ungrateful daughter.

That's how I see myself in the past.

A survivor. A fighter. A girl in love. A caring person. An understanding friend. A loving daughter. A blessing. A helping hand. An open-minded, independent woman. A simple, happy person.

That's the kind of person I wanted to be now, tomorrow, and in the future.

I might have done way too much unforgivable mistakes in the past--but hey, isn't God's forgiveness immeasurable?

Your sins might be as much as the amount of sands in a desert, but remember that His forgiveness is beyond that amount. That's one of the things that keeps me going through all these thunders and storms, and it also reminds me to never look back once I have started my journey. Never looking back here means that I'm looking forward to the future and trying my best not to be overwhelmed by the past. But, I do realize that we need to reflect on our past regularly to keep track of how we're doing, how far we have moved from our beginning point, and in what way does our efforts have had impacts in our life.

Some people say that we need to "forgive but not to forget", and that rule also applies when it comes to ourselves. Forgive yourself of the wrongdoings that had been committed in the past, learn some ways to compensate for it, but never, ever forget it, so that you won't be making the same mistake over and over again. The paper might not be as white as the new one, but you can definitely turn the crumpled, old paper into a useful recycled paper! Kamu tidak bisa mengubah bubur menjadi nasi lagi, but you can definitely make a delicious bubur ayam out of it ;)

So, welcome to this blog again. Hope that it would be wiser (and funnier!) as it ages. Can't believe it has been 4--no, 6 freaking years since I started this blog. Gosh, I was a hyper, super rempong fourteen-year-old who would shamelessly tell about her crush and post her selfies almost every single day! (awhen I say selfie, I mean those puberty-era kind of selfies that you now consider as a disgrace to your self-esteem, yet Google has it all on their system. Yeah, just my luck. )

Shaloom, lehitra'ot!

(that's Hebrew way of saying "goodbye, see you again". OH YEAH I TOOK HEBREW CLASS THIS SEMESTER AND I COULDN'T CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT 'COZ NOW I CAN READ HEBREW LETTERS IN WIKIPEDIA.  HAHAHA. BYE.)
